It keeps happening to me too! But I don't know about Oliver Reed as Renfield? Would he have taken the role?

It was good, but a bit long-winded. I feel that way about most American musicals...my 9 year old son loved it! #FilmSky
Not just a children's magic show, but a professional production and highlight on the yearly theatre calendar for the Wageners. @theatrescenecpt.bsky.social

She believes I am ignorant. 🫣 and she doesnt mind telling me.
She is in a mega church (Hillsong) and a big fan of the US Christian right and Trump. She has even said she doesn't care is he is a pedophile.
My sister recently told me that I don't understand international politics the way she does and that she will pray for me.
I liked this one! Your thoughts?
Where is my sweet boy?
The College of Magic. Truly a happy, magical place.
Toontjies likes opera! He sat quietly for 75 MINUTES. Hy sê dit was vir hom mooi. I know I am being selfish, but I am so grateful he likes it!

Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror (1942)
Director: John Rawlins
With: Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce
Rathbone's third of fourteen appearances. Much anti-Nazi sentiment and patriotism. War bonds mentioned at the end. Well worth a watch. #FilmSky
A group of feminist lesbians staged a “Lavender Menace” protest at a women’s conference more than a half-century ago that forever changed the feminist movement.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939)
Director: Alfred L. Worker
With: Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce
So...Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty are suppose to be be different sides of the same coin?
I thought Ida Lupino's performance was very good. #FilmSky
The Hound of the Baskervilles (1939)
Director: Sidney Lanfield
With: Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce
The first pairing of BR and NG. John Carradine features as the butler. Sherlock Holmes is no Hercule Poirot, but I guess he is ok. 😉 #FilmSky
The Philadelphia Experiment (1984)
Director: Stewart Raffill
With: Michael Park
Okayish mid 80's action movie. #FilmSky
She is in a mega church and she says that I cant look at the bigger picture and I dont understand. That she will pray for me.
Is there literally ANYTHING that he could do that would make them change their minds? My own sister says she doesnt care even if it was proven that he is a pedophile.
I forever see posts like 'what movie needs a sequel?' 'what movie needs a reboot?' 'what movie needs an animated series?'
You know what more stories would really benefit from? An ending.
Whipping up a full English breakfast... good enough to last past lunch, methinks.

Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston in The Addams Family (1991).
Interesting to see this 1947 test screen with Marlon Brando for the film "Rebel Without a Cause." Brando, of course, would later epitomize mid-century American masculinity. He was 23-years-old here.
Timothy Olyphant in the lead. I am also a fan of GAR, but I preferred the remake. I also watch Chosen Survivors (1974) and The Woodsman (2010) with Kevin Bacon this weekend. Both difficult watches.
I watched another version in 2025. Am going to check this one out. I watched the 2 versions of The Crazies this week. Have you seen it?
The Crazies (2010)
Director: Breck Eisner
With: Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell
I thought it was better than the original. Many jump scares and you care about what happens to the characters. Liked the ending too. #FilmSky
Cannon Week starts with AMERICAN NINJA 2: THE CONFRONTATION
The Crazies (1973)
Director: George A.Romero
With: William McMillan
Same 'feel' as Night of the Living Dead, but not as good. Refences to the Vietnam War in the distrust of the army. #FilmSky
