Deep in playtesting and balancing Ahu's First Patrol. This is hard, which makes me appreciate even more what folks like Joe Dever, Steve Jackson, and Ian Livingstone did at a time when the digital tooling of today was not available.

- How many times re-draw you made on that guy?
- All of them. The basket of re-drawing is empty now. Deal with it
I had one of the manliest dreams tonight.
Slightly flickering light above me...
Iron cages...
And in them...
Drills. And I'm comparing them, which to buy.
Late pledges are still possible, btw:

If orban steals the elections, ill probably have to flee to Austria with my family. Oh, nice times ahead of us
To be fair, we have invaluable books with *very primitive* drawings from all over the world
Am i modelling an armour for reference again? Well, not an entire one...
Waiting at a doctor's office. His work hours is between 15:00-20:00
Its almost 17:00 and he is still nowhere.. this country is a trainwreck
Black-and-white ink illustration of a spined jackal emerging from tall grass. The creature has a lean, canine body covered in sharp spines along its back and neck, its mouth open in a snarl as it steps forward. The scene is drawn with rough cross-hatching and wind-swept grass. A green “Ending Soon” Kickstarter label appears in the corner of the image.
Final 24 hours for the Ahu’s First Patrol Kickstarter.
We’re also very close to the stretch goal that unlocks 10 additional interior illustrations.

His channel is dying, rightfully so. Try to ignore him .. :) make good content to hide his stuff from the algorithm! :D
Black-and-white ink illustration of a stone statue of a bear standing upright on a pedestal. The statue appears weathered and ancient, with rough sketch-like shading and worn surfaces suggesting age and erosion. A green “Ending Soon” Kickstarter label appears in the top corner of the image.
The Kickstarter for Ahu’s First Patrol is entering its final days.
We’re also very close to the stretch goal that unlocks 10 more interior illustrations.

On the left: Image of my online persona, Thorvi. A red-skinned Tiefling woman wearing a purple-blue shoulderless dress, fingerless, elbow-length gloves and over knee-high brown boots. Right: Banner of Fantasy Basel, the Swiss Comic Con. May 14th to May 16th, 2026
I will share a booth with another amazing artist at #fantasybasel this May.
If you are visiting the convention, come and say hi.

This weekend is all about playtesting Ahu's First Patrol. Keeping all the different branches and options aligned in my small brain is, well, challenging. Fun fact: sometimes I read a section (there are 350 of them) and am surprised myself.

thats true. and you cant select them to your own accord like "these are known by all, these are niche" for multiple reasons.
to be shorter, cheaper, focus more on other things? Or its really worthy to give a "whole package" with each book and describe what each profession is about, what a personal trait looks like etc. 🤔
I'm thinking about how much we need descriptions in RPG books these days. When i was a kid it was great to have a paragraph or two for all sorts of things but today even kiddos know how to google something. Is it better to leave out descriptions for personal backgrounds for example and let the book
A car stopped next to me with a full dream catcher hanging from the mirror... Oh my Universe
i dont know the game more than trailer level, but one thing that came to my mind, maybe you could photoshop something. not figurative art, but some artistic PCB pattern thingy..? just a random idea.
I'm far too busy now to promise you anything sry
Orbán is provoking Ukraine, probably prepares for a false-flag attack to halt the elections / provoke open war / invite russia Hungary

Antiquarian Games is officially live! I've got a stellar business partner who has been in games for DECADES, a TTRPG ready to go, and a video game in process.
I've been floundering about trying to make this random dream of creative work function for almost 2 decades. Nice to see it get some legs.
Illustrated fantasy book cover showing a young armored ranger standing on a snowy mountain path, holding a spear and facing several looming reptilian creatures emerging from the mist. Jagged peaks rise in the background beneath a large purple moon dominating the sky. The scene is rendered in a painterly style with cool blue and violet tones, conveying danger and isolation in a harsh winter landscape.
The patrol begins today.
Ahu’s First Patrol is now live on Kickstarter — a replayable solo adventure gamebook using D&D 5e. No group required, beginner-friendly, story-driven. No AI art.
