I saw someone lay out a reading order for Sanderson’s Cosmere books and I was like, “damn, that’s a lot of pages.” 😂

Right now I’m really hooked on Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson & I’m reading Iron Flame as well. I’m only about 1/3 of the way through each but so far I’m liking Mistborn a ton. Iron Flame is taking a bit more patience, but I’m sticking to it since so many people have said it gets better!

It’s been a while since I’ve found so many books that I’m truly psyched to read. I often neglect adult fiction, so I can have time to read more YA novels, allowing me to make recommendations and encourage reading among my students. It’s good to find time for my own reading again.

The only choice is to transcribe every episode into a collection of tomes (like back in the day with those wild Encyclopedia Britanica sets) that you pass down through the generations.

My son challenged me to see who could come up with the best Pokémon soccer team. I let him choose first and he didn’t even take Cinderace or Hitmonlee off the board. SMH.
