Sinners fans can be proud. The film did amazingly well at the Oscars. Cinematography, Score, Screenplay, and ACTOR?!? Incredible night.

I love One Battle After Another immensely. It’s an amazing film.

Only six Black men have won Best Actor. Michael B Jordan is the 6th. Wow.

I’m so proud of the Academy for recognizing Michael B Jordan’s greatness in this film.

No matter what happens from here, we can’t say Sinners wasn’t taken seriously by Oscar voters. It’s gotten several important awards.

It’s so beautiful to see Sinners win cinematography. It’s a visually gorgeous film. And to have that award go to a woman for the first time is beautiful.

I have no idea how F1 is nominated for Best Picture.

Timmy Chalalalamet has had one of the worst Oscar campaigns ever. He seems to have talked his way out of an Oscar. Not just with the ballet opera comment. He seems to have turned voters off of him personally.

Can’t wait to see Timmy Chalalalamet’s sad little face when MBJ wins Best Actor.

This is an Oscars where there’s some real suspense over Best Picture. One Battle has dominated most of the Oscar season but Sinners seems to have some late season momentum…

One Battle After Another is a film where a Black girl is a damsel in distress trapped by powerful white men and she rescues herself.

Sinners is like Black America’s movie. It’s our movie and its success is our success. And many of us see One Battle as the antagonist, the film that did BW dirty. So it’s an epic battle of the super pro-Black movie vs the movie that gave us Junglep@ssy. #Oscars
