The only non-serious politicians at the moment are Nigel Farage and Kemi Badenoch, who blindly cheered on Donald Trump's bombing of Iran and demanded we join his war.

Now, they're hurriedly backtracking. That's not serious politics.

We would introduce new protections to ensure taxpayersโ€™ money is spent on frontline services for children, not lining the pockets of offshore investors.

We cannot allow this rigged racket to drag on any longer. SEND children and parents deserve better.

SEND needs a radical shake-up.

We must cap private profits to end the race to the bottom, protect existing support, introduce universal screening for every child, and boost mainstream and specialist capacity so the system truly works for children and families.

Ed Davey quote which reads: Right now, in the corridors of A&E departments across our country, there are thousands of people โ€“ sick or injured โ€“ lying on trolleys or waiting on plastic chairs. No privacy. No dignity.

People were rightly furious with the Conservative Party for plunging the NHS into this crisis. Now they are fed up with Labour for letting things get worse on their watch.

We must tackle the crisis in A&E.

Three fantastic Liberal Democrat wins last night in Watford, Devon and Torridge, including a stinking GAIN from the Conservatives, with Reform failing to take the seat.

Huge congratulations to the amazing campaign teams on the ground!

Elections across Essex were already postponed earlier this year and now itโ€™s being planned that the Essex Mayoral elections will also be postponed all the way until 2028.

This is a complete democratic stitch up by the government preventing people in Chelmsford from having their voice heard.

Chelmsford constituents with BN(O) visas are worried about the Govt's plan to raise the English language requirement retroactively and to increase the income requirement. I raised this in a Westminster Hall debate and urged the Government to reconsider. #BNOVisa

Headline: Lancashireโ€™s Reform-run council plans to close care homes and day centres

If this is what happens when Reform runs a council, just imagine Farage running the country.

Care homes closed and vulnerable people abandoned.

We cannot let Trumpโ€™s America become Farageโ€™s Britain.

I welcome an independent inquiry following the mistaken release of a convicted sex offender from HMP Chelmsford last week. The Government must act fast, and any prison leaders at fault, including Governors, should resign. Systemic failure isnโ€™t one officerโ€™s fault.

Graphic showing a laughing Nigel Farage - above are the words Lib Dems defeat Farage's plan to undermine our Human Rights

Liberal Democrat MPs just defeated Nigel Farageโ€™s Bill in Parliament to tear up peopleโ€™s rights and withdraw from the ECHR.

Farage wants to do away with the Britain Churchill built and turn it into Trump's America. We won't let him.

Good luck to our team over in Colchester and the candidate for New Town and Christ Church, Chantelle Whyborn in the by-election today! ๐Ÿ”ถ

We mustnโ€™t let the UK turn into a Trump-style America. #LibDems have real plans to restore the UK and focus on what people want.

I recently discussed party conferences, the budget, MPsโ€™ security, and more on ITV Anglia Late Edition.

The botched Brexit deal dreamt up by the Farage and delivered by the Conservatives has brought nothing but red-tape and economic misery.

The government must now deliver their promised โ€œEU-resetโ€ - starting with a new UK-EU Customs Union.

Essex County Council accused of wasting money over leaflet Essex County Council says it has spent nearly ยฃ37,000 sending the leaflet out to households.

This new leaflet from Conservative-run Essex CC disregards the opinions of Chelmsford residents, the cost of which could have been spent on local services. We believe it has broken the code of practice

We have written to the local government minister to raise concerns

I recently wrote to the Transport Secretary seeking assurances that their excellent record will be maintained after Sunday.
