While I agree that data and energy reduction could accelerate AI evolution, it's important to consider the vast amounts of high-quality data stored by private enterprises such as Facebook and Samsung.
Inspired by Prof. Melanie Mitchell's podcast, "Complexity, S2, EP6" She stated, "AI is just not sustainable in terms of the amount of data and energy it requires. What we'll see in the next 10 years are ways to try and reduce the amount of data and energy needed."
