Self-Awareness or Self-Sabotage?
A 360 revealed how someone’s self-perception clashed with others’ views, leading to unintentional self-sabotage. Their actions shaped their manager’s perception, ignoring team views.
What self-sabotage are you creating by not being aware of others' perceptions?

Totally agree, and supermarkets are a great place for making. If our son asked for a book, we generally said yes. Sweets no, but he realised very quickly where the yes responses were, and then we all got involved in the book.
Back to it today and first up is a networking session jn #cambridge with Cambridge Business Buzz.
Time for some reading 📚 ready for @thelearningnetwork.bsky.social bookclub
After a very stressful week with a poorly child, I needed to catch up with all things Christmas shopping but I also recognised I was running on empty so took time out for some #selfcare
Freely available course for all families during the Christmas period, minimise and resolve conflict at home: learning.anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk/node/4030/take @anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk @ippr.bsky.social @theadcsltd.bsky.social @admbriggs.bsky.social @adphuk.bsky.social @jobibby.bsky.social
What will you do with that time now?
Whatever your views on the regulation of NHS managers, it looks as though it will be happening, so what's included is going to be extraordinarily important to the future structures and powers, thank you @re-think.bsky.social for your thoughts here on #restorative practice.

Wow! That is a stark stat. Lots of questions, do you know who might leave? do you know why? What can you do about it? There are, of course, many answers, but where will you start? Or is it just another article? #retention #employee #yourpeople
Isn't it funny how things come together some days? I had a #mentoring session & Victoria suggested Screw it: Let's do it by #RichardBranson & then I was listening to The CLG Podcast where Lofty from Eastenders was chatting away & he mentioned a site called World of Books, it's on it's way for £3.50
Something to look forward to
Congratulations 🎊
I'll look forward to it. My son's school hold conversations like this. He embraced it and came away so satisfied that he was heard and the challenge he faced was overcome. He's learned a valuable life skill which I hope he'll practise. The teacher learnt a lot too.
With hierarchy comes passing challenges to someone else to deal with. Listening to this podcast I'm reminded how we lose abilities and confidence if we don't practice dealing with conflict. #restorativepractice is, as Lesley suggests, simple but not always easy. This is a great recording, thank you.
Ooo congratulations Sue
Some brilliant answers that I'll take on.
I'd add:
#Listen - lots of it always
#Connect - there are so many connections to make. People, problems to solutions, ideas and skills
#Give - generously with your own learning
#Collect - stories, evidence, suggestions, ideas, feedback
The lights are up
That's a brilliant offer.

Beautiful! This reminds me about the power of having voice. The need starts from cradle all the way to grave, but we can find ourselves without enough of it. If you are feeling a lack of #voice right now, what steps can you take, especially in the workplace, to ensure it's heard? #bebrave
Sometimes amazing people forget how truly amazing they are. Here is your reminder. Multicoloured rainbow background.
We firmly believe that giving teams more autonomy can lead to happier, more connected workplaces and better outcomes.
Have you noticed a difference when people are given more control over their work?
Now this is Pro level news.
I know right!!!! My Dad used to use the coffee cremes to catch the mice when I was little. Mean!!
Swaps? Lol
