Ok I tried this! But I think what threw us off is you can't adjust the rotation the way you can the batting order. But I see now you *can* choose a starting pitcher. So is the rotation list order irrelevant as long as you can pick who starts? (my baseball ignorance is a problem here lol)
omg thank you so much!! Yes, we've gone into the rosters and set up proper lineups for both teams multiple times, with multiple save files. But once he tries to set up a Classic game, Phillies (his team) looks right but the Dodgers are totally wrong. Like the CPU is changing it or something?
- but every time the Classic game starts, the Dodgers batting order/etc is totally different and wrong. I've found one guy on a forum asking if theres a gltch from 4 days ago and thats.... it. LOL. Poor man is 80 and just wants to play his baseball
no its actually just the classic offline mode, unfortunately. Everything I google comes up with info on franchise mode 😭 He's trying to play as the Phillies vs the Dodgers (CPU as dodgers). We've set up and saved the proper line ups in the rosters menu-
anyone out there play MLB the show? my Dad is trying to simulate a game in offline mode and no matter how many time he edits his roster, the CPU changes the lineup once he tries to start a game. He says its never done this before and I can't for the life of me find any info anywhere. PLEASE HELP 😭🙏

man the PS5's UI is actual garbage. Trying to set my Dad up with his own profile on my PS5 so he can remote play the new MLB game (literally the ONLY game he plays) without buying a whole new system for it. And you can't even edit the home screen? Hide games?? Even make folders??? wtf is this
i know it seems silly to say about a vacation (which was lovely btw) but it involved really pushing myself out of my comfort zone in ways i haven’t in years. and it feels… pivotal. like i broke down a big wall that had grown much taller than i’d realized.
