Vance suggesting that the Pope sticks to issues of morality in the hope that this will deflect his attention from Trump is just a teeny weeny bit naive, isn’t it?

Yes… but…. The POTUS wouldn’t try to deceive us…. Would he??

He thinks the Pope is ‘very liberal’ and bad for foreign policy.

Let’s face it, he’s just barking mad, isn’t he?

Oh come on! He’s clearly pictured as a doctor. You can see he’s asked the nurse to carry his stethoscope for him (so heavy!) And who wouldn’t want Donald Trump laying hands on whilst you’re on your deathbed?
Next you’ll be saying he thinks he’s more important than the Pope.

Oh, hang on a minute….

He also said they'd destroyed all of Irans 'water' boats which means they must still have all their land boats and sky boats.

I agree with this. We should see taxation -or the ability to contribute- more as a privilege than punishment. Sadly, society as a whole takes completely the opposite view, which leads me to believe that we are less civilised than we pretend. Even more sad, this view seems to be humanly universal.

I debunked the original headlines about these school guidelines when they first came out a couple of weeks ago.

But then the Daily Mail pushed this on Facebook over the Easter weekend, so I felt the need to address that too!

I’m not sure of your point here but as you seem now to be hinting at BBC bias -another point I don’t wholly agree with- I think I’ll duck out now.
Have a good day.

I’m not aware of serious editorial issues on here but BS is far from the main SM outlet for most people. But even here I would argue that there are echo chambers and that we as individuals are likely to curate our own way into some and away from others.

We need to talk about Donald Trump’s mental health The increasingly incoherent and volatile president is much easier to understand if we come to terms with one thing

The most powerful man in the world doesn’t have the mental capacity to do the job. Or to put it another way, he’s nuts. It’s time we all recognised that app.prospectmagazine.co.uk/story/72990/...

I have no knowledge of you as an individual. My point was that the belief - commonly held, I think - that people who shun MSM in favour of SM are less likely to be ‘brainwashed’ is not correct. At least in my opinion. SM platforms are subject to editorial control probably more so than MSM.

Yes. Of course. But you can have genuine opinions and read the heinous *MSM* just as you can and rely exclusively on SM.
But either way there are echo chambers and I think it’s naive to believe that SM users are less prone to their influence.
In many cases the reverse is true.

Thank goodness there are no echo chambers on social media.

I know it’s crazy, but as an alternative, White House staffers could simply choose not to commit any crimes.

At the end of the day it isn’t Islam. It isn’t Religion. It’s people. Bad people who pretend to be religious and justify their heinous actions in the name of their chosen ‘Religion’.

Truth about marmalade being renamed after Reform and Tories spread EU claims The new rule was introduced because some EU countries use 'marmalade' and 'jam' interchangeably - and is intended to protect the distinctiveness of Paddington's favourite spread

Brexit diehards raging at mythical EU marmalade renaming is both hilarious and exposing. “Citrus spread” is all they’ve managed to get angry about after years of hunting for outrage … and then they even got that wrong. Imbeciles.

Whatever, I’m not a religious man but I find this image deeply disturbing.

What sort of deal making genius strikes an agreement which neither side appears to agree upon and even their own side cannot properly describe?

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

Maybe stop assuming that they are geniuses of any kind? They may be very good at their bit of the job. Or they might just have been ruthless in achieving their position.
The genius, if there is one - or several - I’d likely somewhat lower in the organisation.
