From Virginia to California, what happened across the country started here in Texas. I’m proud of my colleagues who stood up for Democracy. Help support our Dem incumbents, & send them back to the #txlege! Donate to our House Dems Incumbent Protection Fund today!

"A team of researchers at Stanford University found that frontier AI models readily generated 'detailed image descriptions and elaborate reasoning traces, including pathology-biased clinical findings, for images never provided.'"
Oh I must find it!!
Same as the book by Colson Whitehead?

There's only one perfect photo for this year's Earth Day, and it's this one that the Artemis II crew took. Happy Earth Day.

Dan Lamothe @DanLamothe X.com EXCLUSIVE: It could take six months to fully clear the Strait of Hormuz of mines deployed by the Iranian military, and any such operation is unlikely to be carried out until the U.S. war with Iran ends, the Pentagon has informed Congress — an assessment that means the conflict's economic impact could extend late into this year or beyond. 11:52 AM • 4/22/26 • 5.3K Views
Dan Lamothe @DanLamothe X.com A senior Pentagon official shared the estimate, which has not been previously reported, during a classified briefing Tuesday for members of the House Armed Services Committee, officials said. The timeline was met with frustration by Democrats and Republicans alike. 11:55 AM • 4/22/26 • 1.4K Views
⚠️ It could take six months AFTER the Iran War ends to clear mines from Strait of Hormuz, per Pentagon.
This timeline means the war’s economic impact could extend late into this year and beyond.
Reporting by WaPo:
Two massive deep pink tree peony flowers, with fading pink and red camellia bushes beyond.
Cascading white pearlbush flowers.
The first tree peonies are OUT. But the pearlbush has been at it for a week. 🌱
The recent resignations of two members of Congress have reignited a conversation about sexual harassment in politics nearly nine years after the peak of the #MeToo movement. And new data sheds more light on the scope of the problem — and the major barriers to reporting and addressing abuse.
"Raymond Frogner, the NCTR's head of archives, said the NCTR has received just 96 IAP files from the 38,000 survivors who took part."
Most people don't even know that their records are at risk.
LMAO
I'll have to check them out. It'd be a much shorter drive for me! The acupuncture sessions and Chinese herb tinctures were a godsend during our journey.
A black and white drawing of a girl on the left dribbling a basketball. On the upper right is a basketball hoop. On the right side of the image it says "Girls' Basketball Popularity" and underneath is a graph of sorts that reads from left to right "60s, early 70s, today" and there's a bouncing basketball going along the graph. It's high above "60s," very low over "Early 70s," and then in the middle over "today."
Incredible scientific graph from 1977

Does your TX public school district use the Play It Safe child abuse prevention program? I know all districts are req to adopt a program. After reviewing the information and watching the grade level video for ours, there has to be a better program out there to address these topics. #txlege #txed
We really do. I used to drive weekly to Austin for acupuncture when we were trying to have a baby, and I miss it.
Screenshot of donation in the amount of $19.77 with dedication reading "Today is Aggie Muster - a day which Aggies use to remember and honor those we've lost. So I'm donating 19.77 in honor of my father, David, c/o 1977 who we lost in 2021 but heard a HERE for the following April 21. Miss you, dad."
Today is Aggie Muster! So I'm donating in honor of my dad, who would have absolutely loved the work NAP is doing in our communities. #charitibundibowl
Softly call the Muster

“I would’ve won Vietnam very quickly” says the guy who faked bone spurs to get out of going to Vietnam.
Wow! Bell has been thoroughly drenched, but no flooding.

Whaaaaaat?! 🥺
Holy shit. The response to this was overwhelming. I had enough to order the books and a few more before I finished 4th period. 😭
Thank you. That’s all I can muster through tears. 🙏🏾
On the anniversary of the Columbine shooting.
