Imagine millions of us doing so.
The world is ours, always was, always will be.
THEY WILL LOSE
There are millions today facing economic calamity, climate change, war, and ethnic cleansing.
I'm no hero, I don't have that big of a platform, and I'm certainly not special. I'm just a man who refused to be silent.
To speak out, take the most simplest of actions, and demand others do the same.
I got attacked, called all kinds of names, threattend, lost business, and lost friendships, but I kept my self-respect, built new connections, sharpened my voice, build more trust in myself, and stood by my principles when it mattered.
It also gave me insight into the future, and helped me create timeless pieces I would stand by decades into the future.
It's remarkable that the most basic scientific and entrepreneurial principles of being anchored in reality, verifying, validating, and not falling in love with your own ideas or interpretation of reality, made me a better writer than most in the most prestigious outlets. (Yes I have hubris too)
I wasn't smart, I didn't have a crystal ball, I didn't read more, I just had eyes, ears, and a brain I chose to use.
I simply followed the facts where they led me, not the comfort of believing my own side (I don't have one), or believing my own personal BS (I have a lot of that).
It's amusing to read the comments and get a snapshot of why MAGA is the way it is and why someone like Trump and the criminal cabal around him are still in power.
Unfortunatly for myself and everyone on this planet, I was right, not just with this piece, but with everything else I wrote.
A year ago, this post went viral.
Before the LinkedIn algorithm decided truth doesn't matter and LinkedIn decided to stand with its owner Microsoft along side the most corrupt administration in human history.

The crowd is growing here in St. Paul Minnesota at the State Capitol. There are about 40k people here right now with multiple marches still coming. The temperature has warmed up to a balmy 39 degrees, the sun is out and everybody is having a great time. ❤️#NoKings
No kings means we don’t bow.
Not to ego, not to power, not to fear.

When we expand the lens to include cultural variation in caregiving and how multiple relationships shape us, we start to understand why early relationships leave such deep imprints. And why separation registers in the body as danger, not just sadness.
12/13
It dovetails with Social Baseline Theory: the secure base is a prime example of a person the brain outsources regulation to.
11/13
Attachment theory translates the general "tribal animal" insight into a specific developmental mechanism. It links early experience, nervous system calibration, and adult patterns of seeking security.
10/13
Later work extended this to adult relationships, showing that similar patterns show up in romantic bonds and close friendships.
