The man was a visionary I guess.

Video game development was crazy back in the day.
Congratulations! By speaking this one sentence you've secured Canadian citizenship. 🍁
Sage wisdom.
Nope, mixed it by hand. Would have ruined a blender.
Actually believe it or not I have a friend who made a video about that exact game about two years ago! @ftb1979.bsky.social usually dives deeper into these games than anyone else I know. Heavily recommend you check them out. 😉

The whole image comes together to make a thumbnail that in the end looks like this. Unfortunately you will not be seeing that image moving forward. (6/6)
Our video is live here for folks who want to watch: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nRo...
Here is the frame by frame of me merging the Switch 2 and the goo together. I focused on redoing the color to hit the specific vibrancy I was looking for.
The text isn't actually 3D! It's a 2D visual effect I learned to do by hand. It's just two layers of 2D font with shading and shadows. (5/6)
I really wasn't satisfied with that look. So I went back and redid the entire process with the camera facing dead on with the Switch 2. I took around 100 pictures in total of goo dripping out of a plastic box. My job is extreamily fun. (4/6)
I took pictures of the Switch at an angle and swapped it out with the box of goo and let it spill out slowly. I took pictures rapidly as it spilled out. I merged all the images together and tinted the goo green. This is what the first test thumbnail looked like that we never used. (3/6)
I knew I wanted green slime pouring out of a Nintendo Switch 2. We found a set of Elmer's translucent glues and paired it with a coagulant. This turned the glue into a more pliable and thicker goo. Here is the initial pictures of it getting mixed together. The coagulant smelled like apples! 🍎 (2/6)
Some folks in the Anti-AI and Pro-AI community believed I used AI image generation to make this thumbnail. We've now had to change the image due to these groups fighting about it and causing problems.
It's not AI. It's not even fake goo! It's real. Here is how it came together: (1/6)
Simply a legend. Norm ushered in an era of exploring video game history that popularized the concept to the forefront of YouTube. His style and presentation is unmatched. 🫡
I've spoke with a bunch of game devs since this new video launched. I really hope building in theft warnings in games doesn't become standard. Nintendo seriously needs to step up their moderation on the eShop right freaking now.
Oh... I have no idea... 🤔
That last bowl was done with an old movie trick. The bowl wasn’t actually that full. A smaller bowl was flipped upside down inside that took up the majority of the space!
Yes, we kept the leftover slop and continued to eat it for desert. It was pretty good!
Trust me it wasn’t great pasta. But we did end up eating all the leftover slop. It didn’t go to waste!
Shane’s eSlop Bowl Recipe:
-1 bag of milk
-2 boxes of pistachio Jell-O pudding mix
-2 cups of lime green jelly snack packs
-1 serving of boiled cold pasta
Bust subtitles in the biz! 👍
Restrictions on YouTube!
Nintendo has a BIG problem.
Theft. Slop. AI. Scams. Hentai.
It's real bad folks.
Oh. Not hardware.
New video is launching tonight. Please slop by.
Now that’s a good idea!
Check out @scottthewoz.bsky.social and I ranking the worst games ever made! 🫨

Very soon.
Our next video features the absolute worst video games we've ever had the misfortune of playing to date. Some of it is so bad it's probably illegal.
I think that is a real person with a light in their mouth. 🤔
I’ve only just got into the new series. It’s been great!
