I can't decide if the Claude for Legal webinar today made me deeply miss law twitter or glad I am no longer there because I definitely would have said some things publicly that I should not say publicly (and I say a lot of shit publicly).

I was just looking at the AI Hallucination Database. Easily 90% of reported are for case law hallucinations/errors. That's used more in filings, so sort of makes sense but do we think it also could be that the statutory/regulatory errors aren't being caught? www.damiencharlotin.com/hallucinatio...
A proud Minnesotan through and through.
10 years after his passing, I’m joining folks around the world in honoring Prince by listening to Purple Rain today.
the fun thing* is that every law school faculty has cranks and crazies (e.g. the one at my former school that had a collection of guns in the ceiling of his office), it's just that the media gives extra weight to the ones at T-14s.
*it's not fun
I feel like someone really needs to circle back to the Fernald radiation leaks...
I feel like the basic trajectory of US foreign policy/military is "what if we took every bad decision from the past and tried to do them all at once?" It's the "We're built different" Doctrine.
at least we don't have to worry about them trying to invade Russia in winter. that's the one guarantee.
Freedom is when you can infect others with the flu, but fuck you if you have a skin condition that is incompatible with close shaving.

Free Law is having a moment. It got written about again in legal tech news and I have some commentary on LI about it www.linkedin.com/posts/sglass...
As @kathryn1.bsky.social flagged earlier today…the Volokh Conspiracy army are preparing to grasp at every imaginable straw to make this about “the leak” instead of “Republican justices made up fake law because they were worried about their personal stock portfolios”
I just saw a thing that said “do you think trump loves McDonalds because it has “Donald” in its name?” and…now I do.
FUCK IT, WE'LL DO IT DEAD
Unsolved Mysteries is covering murder at Fernald and I should really look into what growing up 50 miles down wind from nuclear waste site that regularly leaked did to all of us en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fernald...
Doing a little research and I came across a bunch of articles discussing submitting appellate briefs on CD-ROM. That became ancient history fast.
h/t for the term of art lol
so i guess Kash Patel is actually an attorney? I literally just thought he was a podcaster with no relevant experience.
They actually did it. Bravo.
Standing by for more.
Just dropped my LawDroid Manifesto podcast episode featuring David Colarusso, Practitioner in Residence and Co-Director of the Legal Innovation and Technology Lab at Suffolk Law School—teaching the next generation that 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 when it comes to AI. 🚀 David grew up all...
This weekend I wrote about the time students at Notre Dame beat the shit out of the Klan. It's a feel good story for the ages. dansinker.com/posts/2026-0...
"What so you think Ted Bundy shouldn't have been executed?"
No, I don't. The State derives its sovereignty from the People, and so when the State kills a person retributively they are committing murder in my name, and I am not obliged to accept that as tolerable in modern society.
I have to say, I thought I got it before but the opening lines of Ginsberg's Howl hits pretty hard now.
Thinking about starting a (personal) project and step one in my plan is "Invent new branch of physics so that I can manipulate time and actually have enough hours in the day to actually attempt this" and...I dunoo...I think it's just crazy enough to work!
Also the algorithm brought me to QVEEN HERBY this weekend and this is my new power up song youtu.be/umk4GjGpBQc?...
I am both personally attacked and also intrigued by this targeted ad I got for readers designed to put on make up www.laurageller.com/products/hea...
