Knowing him, he's only saying that because it already tried to existentially threat HIM personally and he can't have that. Probably fumbled it trying to use it on someone else.

Wild how the technology that's going to replace all workers is now being described as a delusional thought simulator you've poured into every critical piece of office software.

my parents on the moon launch

mom: why are they going to the moon

dad: same reason we go to your brother in Australia- some people like going very far away to a place where you die if you go outside

"Why should I have to provide modern teens with the social safety nets I benefited from?" I just know I can hear the ocean from your ears. Be quiet if you can't find basic decency or critical thinking skills

a quiet, simple and yet powerful oil painting of a woman with long dark hair sat in a chair reading. The painting feels impressionist but the face is depicted with great care

ICE is building Concentration Camps. FOR THE EXACT SAME REASON GERMANY DID.

What was the official government stated purpose of the Camps in Germany?

To help those interred to EMIGRATE OUT OF GERMANY.

Word for word the same as ICE.

KNOW YOUR HISTORY!!!

And this is why I'm not thrilled with auto-captioning without at least an option to edit it easily on the platforms. Don't even get me started on why I don't post on Guy Fawkes Day.

Anyone who will say with a straight face that they don't read prologues but would read them if they were called Chapter One instead is not a serious person.

While a coarse articulation, I'm fascinated because I generally read books externalized to the content unless authors explicitly presents the tale as 2nd person or breaks the 4th wall. I wonder how this works w. aphantasia and across non-US cultures

Women Warrior turns 50 this year. It came out during the American bicentennial so there's a lot of poetry to that. I wonder if AAAS has any panels this year about it? Guess we'll hear about it this weekend
