it'd be one thing if terra's orphanage was one character ending of several different girls with super varied stories, i think it's cute for her, it's just that the only other girls in the party are celes (cursed with and motivated by a kind of mid romance) and relm (was born 15 minutes ago)

also all the guys who get positioned as potential love interests/flirt with the heroines are in their mid to late 20s which does just kind of suck. locke doesn't have to be 25. but that's obvious

i've complained about locke and celes already so i won't reiterate it. but i have Really Mixed Feelings about terra's optional status in the second half being because she became a mother of a ton of kids

i like 6's party members a lot but there really needed to be more girls. it's crazy that you get to relm and the game meets its quota (two 18 year olds and a child)

shb emet would be overjoyed to see azem again because she was his friend and he loved her but also would love nothing more than to make her (nayu) cry out of shame/guilt. because there was someone he wanted to live more than he wanted her to. it's complicated

azem and hermes probably could have gotten a lot out of being friends, but i think they only actually spoke briefly a few times

she adored hythlodaeus though, and was always a little down about being someone he could only worry about. emet probably wondered all the time what she thought about his death, but he never saw her or spoke to her directly again after that (through her decisions, not his)

venat was much better at engaging with azem than emet was, in that when she was with venat she was actually able to focus and seemed to have a sense of purpose that finally made her happy... emet resented azem quite extremely at the end, in that she survived and disappeared while hyth (gestures)
