Sounds like a truly nasty one given its location. From an interview with a driver who witnessed it, there is a chance that there were fluids dropped prior to the accident itself, giving none of the drivers a hope of avoidance. The race restart matters not until all drivers are safe. 🙏.

I took my first invigilated exam for 36 years today. It was a subject I have been doing my entire working career of 34 years. I passed, BUT, the results are apparently now in question simply because I completed a 2 hour exam in less than 40 minutes. Annoyed is an understatement.

Really only that old? Wowsers.

As a resident of Northamptonshire, I agree with many opinions that it is indeed, the boil on the arsehole of England. Not sure if Billing aquadrome counts as Rivera like though. It is often underwater, and static caravans do sort of look like yachts when floating.

We used to cook up chicken breast, boiled eggs, and rice and mash it up. Also tinned tuna went down very well with really squidgy rice, though we didn’t give the tuna too often.

Folks underestimate the size of “smaller” cars. My 2019 golf just held enough luggage for 3 people on a holiday through Europe and still had room to spare. We don’t need the giant monsters.

Compared to when I was younger, there does seem to be a lack of STEM based programming. Professor Hannah Fry does some amazing things with the BBC, and recently National Geographic with Infinite Explorer. BBC shows were AI confidential and Secret genius of modern life.

Amazing work. Saw one of these thrashing it around the norschleife last week. Sounded quiet in comparison to most other cars, but boy it looked good. Great memories of my youth.

It’s wonderful until the anger and short tempers begin (can only speak for me of course). Been on and off the stuff for years due to an autoimmune disease, and whilst it allows me to function, I almost have to isolate for fear of being mean to others.

This will continue until such time, they realise that their investment does not realise any meaningful returns. Hardware is hardware is hardware, fundamentally it’s all the same, as is the old law of garbage in, garbage out, and that’s where AI is deeply flawed with its inability to distinguish.

Extrapolate this out across all motorsports and the number would be enormous. Very few events would be able to run without the generous amounts of time offered by those volunteers. Given the joy these events give to so many people, all of those volunteers have my respect.

My favourite German word is “Kopfkissen” which is pillow and is just perfect in every way.

I would rather buy someone else’s spec car at a huge discount 6 months down the line, than lose 20% the second I drive a brand new car off the forecourt. To me it shows that the “new” prices they try to charge, are for those who don’t need to ask how much something costs.

Today was my first visit to the Nordschleife. It won’t be my last. I don’t care who is driving, or what car is being driven. To have the guts to get on that track deserves a huge amount of respect. I don’t have those guts, but loved watching the cars at Adenau and Brünnchen. #nordshleife #fastcars
