Polish horoscope for BYK 🐂. A pretty well drawn ox head given the medium. His horns are even giving a certain amount of Tempest claw.

Ah now there's some decent effort gone into this Polish one at least.

For a long time it was only possible to recover teletext on Linux - now you can do it on a Windows laptop! Get more information and download VBI Recorder for nothing at https://teletextarchaeologist.org/software/ - but remember to upload your recoveries to https://www.teletextarchive.com after :-)

Look, I despise football, but this game looks super charming and reminds me of playing subbuteo in my pals bedroom.

The Teletext is super nostalgic lol

A Level 3.5 teletext page showing some of the lyrics of "Joseph's Coat".

The lyrics are:
"It was red, yellow, green, brown,
scarlet, black, ochre, peach,
ruby, olive, violet, fawn,
lilac, gold, chocolate, mauve,
cream, crimson, silver, rose,
azure, lemon, russet, grey,
purple, white, pink, orange and blue!"

Each named colour appears on a rectangle of the same colour.

At the bottom is the text "Rose is CLUT 0:5. Gold, Cream and Lemon are in CLUT 1 and applied with a Level 3.5 only Object."

Level 2.5 #teletext has 16 redefinable and 16 fixed colours. But Level 3.5 allows all 32 colours to be redefined.

The 16 colours of CLUTs 2 and 3 are redefined, and by redefining a further 4 colours and using 9 remaining colours as is, we can shoehorn in all 29 colours of Joseph's dreamcoat.

This advertisement for the Panasonic TX 2284 22-inch Colour Teletext TV highlights the features of the television, including auto-search tuning, 10-watt audio output, and a 31-key remote control. It is advertised as a device for staying informed without having to work too hard for information.

Panasonic Teletext. For those who pursue the quest for knowledge. But don't like to walk too far.

People in the know choose Panasonic Teletext Televisions to keep themselves that way. Because as well as the regular BBC and
IBA channels, a Panasonic Teletext receiver obtains both the 'Ceefax' and 'Oracle' information systems.
The TX 2284 model shown below features auto-search tuning which ensures perfect
reception, a 10 watt audio output from a 2-way speaker system, and a quality of picture that has to be
seen to be believed.
What makes the TX 2284 remarkable is a 31 key remote control handset which not
only operates both the TV and Teletext but also slots neatly back into the TV itself.
All of which leaves experts in no doubt as to what
is the easiest way to acquire knowledge. Buy a Panasonic,
Just slightly ahead of our time.

Happy Easter to all the #teletext nerds and fans with a Level 2.5 chocolate egg wrapped in G3 smooth mosaics.

Again the trademarked names have been changed to protect the innocent artist from copyright lawyers.

Mistigram: I expect that this offbeat #teletext screen, like many others, was drawn by @illarterate.bsky.social for inclusion in Rail Slave Games' game #SelfieSistersOfTheAmnioticLens. It was included in the nonsensical MIST0418 April Fool's artpack collection released eight years ago this month.
