A few years back I hooked up an old PS3 so I could update and format before selling it. The whole process took a couple of hours and it was unbelievably sluggish, just an unpleasant experience all round. Feels like the PS3/360 generation is the worst by far, PS4 still feels snappy by comparison

Crimson Desert is the game Dragon’s Dogma 2 should’ve been - a janky disaster that’s somehow way more fun that it has any right to be.
Turns out the answer to "When will I ever use this type of math?" was "Video Games".

A screenshot of a slack message showing a JSON file of achievements where the Achievement ID number (Starting with 0 and incrementing) does not match the internal unlock ID number. Achievement 0 is paired with ID 1, Achievement 1 is paired with ID 11 and so on. It is cruel.
