this is my first "finished" ilustration with a screen tablet. its still very rough but i've been enjoying it.

I couldn't make a living off of my art, and that's why I came where I am today. The sense of failure is terrible. This doesn't come from a place of low self-esteem, but It comes from understanding the right decisions. I know I'm good, but I couldn't make it work and I feel terrible for it. 加油朋友们

But everything is AI-driven nowadays. My creativity is lost. I have very little sense of self right now and all I wanted to do was have someone ask me to draw their character and have them love it. I don't know if I can handle this corporate world any longer.

This is a cry for help
I stopped illustrating to work an 8-6 and I've been slowly grinding myself away. It's been 6 months now and there's nothing I miss more in my life than simply doing art, be it for me or for others. I'm currently working in a multinational company, in a creative field.
