It sounds like you're taking a lot onto your shoulders for something that you want to be casual. Remember, you can lean on your players to handle a lot of the grunt work/learning. You may be worried about alienating them, but generally it actually increases commitment. RPGs are a two-way street.

I have two recurring nightmares:

1) A Billy Madison situation where I need to go back to junior high school, but I forgot all my classes and I'm locked out of the room, and it's snowing and my suitcase is open and won't close

2) Waking up in my bed to find I'm on the set of the Bill Maher show

It might be a good idea to think on what makes you enjoy RPGs in the first place. If those things are compatible with GMing, your issue may just be an anxiety or group dynamic thing, which could ease over time the more experience (and confidence) you get. If they aren't compatible, whelp... 🤷‍♂️
