Ugh. Another example of anti-reality, agenda-driven forces trying to muddy the waters with legit-sounding organizations. They’re simultaneously attacking science and prestige-farming by picking science-y names to trick people (in this case by evoking the prestigious National Academy of Sciences). 🧪
It's helpful to say what the correct interpretation is: Assuming a valid statistical model and sampling method, the 95% CI is the range of values that is likely to contain the true population parameter 95% of the time if the study were repeated under these same conditions.
