I wasn’t aware of this, thanks for sharing!

Yep 😄
I guess that counts as a pretty good rating, since I feel like a lot of the actual software that’s coming out of the frontier labs screams “vibe coded” 😃
That’s good to know!
I need to play around with it. I understand why, but I wish it weren’t Electron.
👋
These look great!
Thanks! 🙏
Made the move to @eurosky.social. Feels good to have my account hosted closer to home.

I use the same stack in @strengthy.app 👌
holy christ there's probably interesting things to learn about running a 40 million user site using on-prem hardware and a small team but all everyone cares about is the fact that some of the devs use AI.

Congrats! 🎉
This is really nice! I might steal some ideas from this 😊

Overhyped? 🫠
I’ve been using @bearnotesapp.bsky.social for the last few months and really enjoying it. Great, simple design, native apps on all Apple platforms, and a step up feature-wise compared to Notes.
I don’t know why I slept on it for so long.
I don’t agree with all of it, but I think that LLMs eating web traffic is real. I’ve definitely noticed myself relying more and more on LLMs for information instead of going to websites. It’s so convenient 🤷♂️
I use LLMs both professionally and personally and find them really useful for certain tasks, but considering some of the effects this technology has had on the open web, highlighted in this post by @anildash.com, it definitely makes you think: is it worth it?

Nope, this is the way.
This is so good! 😃
”Traits give a package a way to expose configurable options to its users. A package can define traits it supports. And then, it can conditionalize compilation and configuration based on them.”
This post by @massicotte.org finally made package traits click for me.

I feel pretty much the same. Anthropic’s company values are more aligned with my own, but in general, I prefer OpenAI’s products. I guess they’re still playing catch-up, but I’m a bit surprised that so much of the conversation is still just around Claude Code.
Best time of year when you’re developing for Apple platforms.
