Just the third time in history Aberdeen will play Hearts at Hampden.

The previous two were both in the Scottish Cup. The final in 86 (3-0 Aberdeen) and the 96 semi (2-1 Hearts).

Have also met in a League Cup semi but that was at Easter Road.

Thelin has played him deep, almost like a 10, and it has turned his season around.

Life was rarely boring under Jimmy Calderwood. Dnipro, Atletico Madrid, Copenhagen, Bayern Munich.

Only met him the once but he was an absolute gent.

RIP Jimmy.
