It’s a shame. The promise of modern manufacturing should have meant better margins for the maker and better prices / products for the buyer. A win/win. But in many cases the maker gets greedy and has no reason to do things differently

As mentioned it really does look and sound the business. 40w of high headroom clean Fender guitar tone isn’t a thing to be sniffed at if you’re a pedal lover (and even if you’re not)
