Fantastic art! Just finished watching the movie last night and it was MAGNIFICENT.

I think most proper theorists (RyeToast, GameTheory, etc) are gonna understand that the only conclusions to be drawn (regarding movie-to-game) are from loose parallels and not actual lore/events. For example, the date reveal of you-know-who’s death, and more examples on how remnant works.

Fr lmao, my theater was packed with teens-adults and we all had a BLAST! There was a group of girls in the back of the theater that full-on SCREAMED at a few of the jumpscares, and the whole theater chuckled at some of the jokes. XD

I was SHOCKED when I saw all the hate on YouTube.

I saw it just last night. HOLY IT WAS SO GOOD!

Improved on every criticism of the first movie, and played around with some pretty insane new ideas! One of my favorite bits was when a certain someone first gets out of their…prison ;)

And the ending…

Put me on a pitchfork, but I actually loved the ending! Completely subverted my expectations while also…honestly, making sense (and being a cool character flaw moment)! My jaw hit the FLOOR when the credits started rolling. I can’t wait for the third movie!

Still by far one of the best movies I’ve seen in a WHILE. I LOVED the new ideas they were playing with, and oh BOY was Charlotte CREEPY AS ALL HELL! Loved every scene with her in it! So great to see Scott go back to his roots in paranormal horror! It’s been so long…

I also think that while the Toys’ rampage was done WAY better than in the first movie (actually dangerous and somewhat creepy), they still could’ve done better. We need some more blackened-eye, instant-silent-jittery head movement like the og games! Still had a blast though XD

In addition, while this isn’t inherently a negative, I wish I could’ve seen more of the Withereds. I loved that scene so freaking much! But I do think each character spotlight went by so fast simply because they needed to fit SO MUCH into just a short movie length of time.

I personally thought the pacing was fun, but I DO have ADHD so there’s that.

I feel like despite how much fun the OG vs Toys scene was, it was obvious they kinda just needed an interesting way of getting rid of the first movie’s ghost kids, the second’s animatronics, as well as fanservice.

Okay, so now that I have a clear, non-overhyped mind from sleep, I can talk a little bit about my minor nitpicks in the movie (FNaF 2).

A lot of people seem to dislike the pacing of the movie, and I can’t really blame them. It kinda bounces back and forth a lot, leaving no chill

Mumble's Concern - Part 1

(Oh btw, a person that does this would likely not understand most of this and what he is doing, as only his subconscious True Self would likely understand even a fraction of what he is doing. A lot of this is coping mechanism. However I am not a therapist, so…grain of salt.)

And a side theory: his name.

Wehmut wasn’t given by Caine. It is the alleged True Self’s true name, as stated by Mumble. It’s an interesting name, and perhaps, if rearranged, it could become a more human…true…name.

Finally, let’s consider their design. A puppeteer and his puppet. Perhaps a True Self puppetting a false version of himself. Perhaps in the real world, he was doing the same. Trying to give people a version of himself that is more “normal”, while trying to suppress his violent True Self.

Also, consider the situations that trigger his True Self to take direct action. One is where he is told he “doesn’t love himself” by evil Ragatha, the other is when his “mask” is attempted to be removed. Both are when someone gets too close to the truth (and uses it against him).

Wehmut is neither good nor evil in regards to Mumble. He helps Mumble, encouraging him sometimes (see the date comic), yet he also gives intrusive thoughts of giving up or killing. These are his unfiltered thoughts, only afterword filtered through his mask, the puppet.
