Every time I think "I should post more," my immediate next thought is "Why?"

This is a question I don't have a good answer for so I remain mostly postless.

Definitely looking into doing a physical release -- we may have to wait and see if there's a bit more demand, but it's something we want to do

Every time I have to interact with an Apple service from a non-Apple product it pushes me deeper and deeper into the "Annoying Android Guy" hole.

Of course, this is a roller coaster I'm talking about. I'll live. This is a part of being a fan of such an ephemeral form of entertainment. Here's hoping TT2 isn't dead in the water so that I can experience one of these strata coasters in some form.

So hearing that the sudden rumors were true and that Ka did in fact close without an announcement stings particularly hard. If it had just one more season, I could have bit the bullet and checked it off my list, but now it's gone for good.

Ka was the #1 coaster in that book that got me into this hobby, and thus was very high on my wishlist. As of just over a week ago, I finally have a job with a mix of stability and time off that might allow me to start making treks to these places I've studied pictures of since I was a kid.

I always dreamed of traveling around and checking rides off of my bucket list, but I've never really had the time or money to make good on that. I've been lucky enough to make a few trips to new parks, but those have mostly been right time, right place scenarios.

One of the reasons I got into roller coasters as a kid was this crappy book I got at a book fair just called "Top 10 Roller Coasters," and while the list itself is not exactly definitive (Son of Beast is on it), it introduced me to the idea that there were parks with these insane rides all over.

Six Flags Great Adventure removing Kingda Ka before I got the chance to ride it is personally kinda crushing tbh.

They announced another Ice Age movie so now I either have to make two Marathon Session Addendums for the same franchise or wait to film the thing until 2026, neither of which seem like good options.

My conspiracy theory is that Disney rigged the election so that they didn't have to build another animatronic for the Hall of Presidents

Shout-out to the cashier who held up the line to explain to me, unprompted, why I should not go see Joker 2.

Popcorn feels like it should be recyclable

My gecko suddenly stopped eating a couple weeks ago and I was getting really worried, but I switched up his food and just watched him happily munch on a cricket. That's a good feeling.

Finally I can be on Bluesky and not post just like I did on Twitter
