I think I finally settled on folder format for my RAW files. And I converted all my raw files to .dng. Adobe and Apple teaming up on this raw format made me convert all my Canon, Nikon and Fujifilms raw files to .dng #photography #photos #raw

Japan’s history is very rich. The feudal system shaped the culture in many ways but so did the Shinto and Zen Buddhism religions. The samurai are long extinct warrior class of the Japanese feudal system but it still fascinates a lot of people. This is photo of actual samurai armour. #Samurai #japan

I've been shooting with the 56mm f1.2 R, the "bokeh king." It's been both fun and challenging. The lens works best for shooting subjects between 4 to 10 meters away. I tried to buy the 27mm pancake lens, but it's sold out everywhere. I checked at least four electronic shops in Tokyo, with no luck.

I’m taking about 200 photos a day on my trip to Japan. For the trip it will be around 4000, I think. I’m finding that 1 out of 10 photos have good lighting, composition and focus. I had to buy another 256gb memory card. I’m shooting in raw and fine jpeg. #fujifilm #tokyo #japan #subway
