Die Verurteilung von Mosbah ist kein Einzelfall, sondern folgt einem Trend der Gewalt und staatlichen Repressionen gegen Geflüchtete. Dabei geraten auch diejenigen ins Visier, die sich mit Geflüchteten solidarisieren und Unterstützung leisten.

Tommy Olson has been released, but he is far from safe. He still faces extradition to Greece, where he could be held in pre-trial detention for up to 18 months.

Die Crew des Rettungsschiffes Ocean Viking hat 116 Überlebende von der Gasplattform #Miskar gerettet und sicher in Italien an Land gebracht.

The survivors had sought shelter on the platform during a storm and were forced to remain there for several days, as responsible states such as Malta did not initiate any rescue operations.
