I love looking at/learning about where things came from. I’ve been lucky enough to have lived through most of the gam industry’s history, and its continuing evolution is fascinating. I also love all the unique forms of physical media that have occurred over the decades.

Holy crow, the Amico saga seriously has no bottom…

I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating. Someone needs to make a Ninja Gaiden Classic collection, pulling together the arcade original, the nes games, game gear, master system, shadow, that weird mobile game, and whatever else I’m forgetting. This series deserves to have its history preserved.

I thought Fantastic Four was excellent.

This is so specific and I love it.

Look. I get that this is based on Japan’s release dates, and Super Mario USA didn’t come out until later, but I’m reasonably confident Super Mario Bros 2 hit the US before Mario 3 hit Famicom.

It’s utterly fascinating.

It sure is! It’s possibly some of the most publicly wrong I’ve ever been. I turned out to really enjoy sunshine, Metroid Prime is a masterpiece and one of my favorite games ever, and wind Waker actually IS my favorite game ever. What a goober I was back then.
