I actually think Trump is so stupid that he doesn’t know he can’t fire Vance, which explains why he keeps setting him up for failure. Or, Trump may think he can have Vance arrested, at which point Vance could be replaced with Trump’s dream girl: Ivanka. We live in the worst of times.
There’s no way Vance would resign, and Trump can’t fire him. This could get pretty spicy pretty quick.
