"Terminus" has been nominated for a Méliès d'Argent at the Lund FFF and will be screened on Oct 26, as a pre-show short before the thriller "El Instinto" at the Kino cinema!

Deze mensen hebben geen idee wat ondraaglijk psychisch lijden betekent. Je straft er mensen mee, waardoor sommigen mogelijk tot zelfdoding zullen overgaan als alternatief.

Het meest frustrerende is dan nog het voorstel van de psychiater om de leeftijd voor euthanasie op te trekken naar 30. Dat is in feite hetzelfde als zeggen dat de persoon in kwestie niet weet waar die het over heeft, en dat er voor jou beslist wordt dat jouw lijden nog niet waardig genoeg is.

Bart Schols en de andere gasten begrijpen duidelijk de lijdensweg van iemand die mentaal afziet niet. Siska heeft op haar 25 jaar op dat vlak al veel meer meegemaakt dan de meesten in hun hele leven. Vooral op het einde is het frustrerend om te zien hoe weinig ze begrijpen van wat er in haar omgaat.

Misschien zal dit inderdaad een extra push geven aan de mensen te verhuizen naar Signal. Als iedereen 'en masse' hun hele vriendenkring en collega's kunnen overhalen om eindelijk collectief de overstap te doen, dan komen we weer een stapje dichter om Mr. Zuckerberg minder macht te geven.

Race to the bottom? Serieus? Omdat er een vraag wordt gesteld over het afschaffen van een toelage die al bovenop de royale wedde komt van meer dan 20k bruto. Als dit een race to the bottom is, wat moet de meerderheid van de Belgische bevolking dan zeggen op hun persoonlijke situatie.
