Over a quarter of a century later, Garak/Bashir still holds a special place in my heart - I think at one point I'd read every fic on the internet for them

It was Janeway/Chakotay, which I don't actually ship, but because I am Very Aro, I didn't really understand what shipping was until a few months later, when I read a gen fic with surprise background Garak/Bashir and was like ??????!!!!!!!!!!!
