Whether or not the two things are actually correlated, it is incredibly funny that Bluesky started experiencing near daily tech fuck ups right after the team started bragging about using vibe coding

if we're all not messaging each other because we're worried about being annoying, then who's flying the plane?
"site that frequently breaks run by a staff that seems completely embarrassed that their space is primarily filled with queer people and not shareholders" like. that's tumblr. it's happening again
i'm not surprised the site partially moderated by a guy who dipped his phone into a fucking pool to try and stop it from overheating constantly breaks
Cancel Reply Forbidden Jay Bluesky is made with Al, the engineers and even some non-engineers use Claude code Can you ask them to stop?

Three Goddesses Priestess (Agnes Digital): And do you take this wonderful woman to be your wife?
Admire Vega: I do
Priestess: And do you take this dazzling woman to be your wife?

If you want the backstory on this, it was going to be an invert of this; I had the appointment scheduled but I got bowel problems at the last second and had to cancel and didn’t go back out of embarassment.
Thanks, lactose intolerance for sparing me from something more embarrassing than diarrhea.
Also, I say this as a former SNK mark, and I mean, as a MASSIVE SNK mark who almost got a NEO-GEO tattoo years ago:
If you were truly an oldschool SNK fan, you’d be disgusted with the direction of the company right now and you can still have some lingering nostalgia without giving them a cent.
This isn’t the kind of practical joke you play on someone like him
Look how unamused he is after those old wounds reopened for a good second or two

I do game history as a hobby, mostly either weird ramblings on this website or whatever weird nonsense I'm rambling about on the HG101 Podcast, not for fame or glory or to get a job, but in hopes some other game history sicko might get a spark of inspiration to find more sources, that I can consume.
When I say gamers treat you not buying the entertainment products they like with the exact same degree of pain like you chopped off one of their fingers, this is what I mean.
This Week's Gundam X Episode
Episode 3: "My Steed is Vicious"
Originally aired April 19, 1996
Shagia speaks this episode's title. We get our introduction to the Frost Brothers here, as well as Dr. Techcs. I love the sequence of Jamil using the grapple gun to climb aboard the GX sooooo much.
This Week's Gundam X Episode
Episode 2: "I'll Give You Power..."
Originally aired April 12, 1996
It's Tiffa's turn to name this week's ep. This arc is extra fun on rewatches, with knowledge to see things from Jamil's perspective and fully grasp how much of a TERRIBLE TIME he must be having here.
A ruined pilot's helmet with its visor cracked open sits amidst a parched, sandy desert. A snake with two heads chases a rodent into the helmet. In the distance, an enormous crashed spaceship looms over a town. "People try to survive today in hopes of better times to come."
Garrod Ran smiling as he stands at the threshold of a mobile suit's cockpit, a pistol held in both hands and pointed at the pilot. "This is what's called a holdup."
Closeup of an electronic device with its screen displaying a photo of Tiffa Adill with sad eyes. A half-finished cup of coffee sits on the table nearby. "The girl's name is Tiffa Adill. I want you to rescue her."
The interior of the safe aboard the captain's quarters of the Freeden. It's empty except for the G-controller, a detachable joystick-like device that works as a sort of key to the Gundam X. "What the heck is that?"
This Week's Gundam X Episode
Episode 1: "Is the Moon Out?"
Originally aired April 5, 1996
Jamil gets the honors of speaking the first title, a quote that may be instantly recognizable to fans of the show. One of my favorite first eps of any anime for how it sets the mood and tone of the series.
yeah, that’s right, albeit with caveat that i think x is worse than 4chan. you take the atmosphere of a particularly nasty 4chan subboard and then scale it up to a website where heads of state and ceos of leading corps all post
I really wish we started treating Twitter in the same way we did 4chan. The legacy of what Twitter was and the problematic relationship people have with it prevent them from seeing that it’s 4chan. Yeah it can be funny, interesting, and wild…but you’re still on /b/ and /pol/… it’s bad for you.

If anything, emulation kept SNK's games from fading into obscurity. Entire generations of SNK fans probably never would've known what they were if they didn't live in an area with an old Neo Geo machine running a bootleg ass multicart, or if it weren't so easy to find and emulate their games online.
