Do the major indie rock bands of the era demonstrate these hallmarks? Did The Strokes, White Stripes, Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, etc have bad guitar tones?
