The Wetland Project has been my favorite alternate-reality radio experience since it began. Since it only happens once a year, you can’t become accustomed to it. Close your eyes and be washed over by the sonic reality of an isolated bog on Saturna Island!

You have more in common with the people of Iran than you do with anyone in this administration, any member of the technocracy, anyone who is profiting from this war, or any billionaire. When you see Iranians forming human chains outside key infrastructure sites, you should feel a sense of kinship.

For real. Excellent dogs, dope signs, weed moms, wine dads, choirs, preachers, punks pushing a sound system playing cypress hill, brass bands, kids in sequin fairy dresses, goths w/ parasols, ppl wearing frog hats, + more, all united by the singular feeling of being completely fed up.

Who is making bank from all of this, I wonder. All those tantalizing gov't contracts undulating gently in the wind, waiting to reward mysterious companies.
