Some of my favorite specimens are from Crystal Grove (below), so that definitely checks out. Hopefully since they just opened yesterday there’s still a good chance of finding something good. It’s still fun regardless since chatting up other people about their finds is nice.

Went out walking today (to get in on some Pokémon GO events) and enjoyed the cherry trees in the Stockade. Beautiful weather, it’s gonna suck if it snows and/or rains again because I got Herkimer diamond hunting plans tomorrow…

My niece’s chicken Bawky was brutally murdered by local wildlife and I was asked to draw her a little version of her best friend to remember them by. I hope she likes it 🐓💖
