Prague is heading to the Moon!๐
In Feb 2026, NASA's #ArtemisII will carry ADVACAMโs Timepix chips to monitor lunar radiation. ๐ฆพ
At the end of 2025, the group launched AdvaSpace to turn radiation detection into a global "space weather" data service. ๐ฐ๏ธ

Time flies with our detectors! Over the years, weโve made great progress ๐
Starting in 2018 with USB WidePIX, followed by WidePIX PoE and since 2025 the WidePIX DYNAMIC Industry in its iconic red design.
Get to know more about our detectors on our website ๐
Apparently, we are the best Czech manufacturer ๐ญ
That's was the results of ฤeskรฝ Goodwill award poll. ๐We won first place in Made in Czechia category.
We are honored to receive the public's votes as well as to have won favor of the jury.
๐งโ๐You may know the Integration Bee competition - what you see here is finale of the Czech edition.
As sponsors of the contest, we ar elooking forward to welcome the winners in our labs. They get a short internship with us.
Young talent needs support to flourish and we are happy to encourage them ๐ช
๐ธWho said physics won't get you on a cover of a magazine?
At @e15.cz, they were interested in Jan Jakubek's story, and how ADVACAM came to be. They called him the "new Mr. Rรถntgen"!
In Czechia, you can buy it now at your nearest news stand ๐
Non-destructive XRD of the full volume of metal objects? In a common lab? ๐งโ๐ฌ
๐๏ธUnlocked by ADVACAM's technology. And you can read about it in Nature's Scientific Reports.

We will be showcasing at #semicontaiwan as part of the Czech pavilion ๐จ๐ฟ
You can meet Jan Mrรกz and Zuzana Melnรญkovรก in ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ผ๐๐ต ๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐ญ.
The pavilion is also expecting a visit from minister Marek ลฝenรญลกek.
๐ฅDon't miss the opening ceremony and happy hour on September 10th at 11:15 AM!

What are the Smurfs made of?
๐ฆดNow we know, thanks to the multichannel x-rays done with our WidePIX MPX3 5x5 camera.
The material-sensitive X-rays reveal the different metals in different shades and clearly distinguish them from the plastic, shown in green.
We are proud to be highlited as some of the best innovators between ฤeskรก spoลitelna's partners. ๐ธ
To celebrate 200 years of the company, they bring the Roadshow for a stronger future to towns all over the country to show ordinary people, what Czech engineers and workers can do. And there are talks!
The International Paris Air Show is on! ๐ฉ๏ธ
Jan Kalaลก and David Malanฤuk are there to show the benefits of non-destructive testing with photon-counting cameras - both with or without Radalytica a.s.' robots.

Lots of people are familiar with CTs in the medical setting, but what can they do in manufacturing?๐ญ
Sasha Senck was a guest in UNSEEN TALKS.
๐จโ๐ผHe spoke about his work with industrial microCT - it's just like the one in the hospital, but it can be more precise, because it can use higher energies.
Does China need photon-counting detectors? ๐จ๐ณ
Well, of course! One of the leading manufacturing countries has a lot of use for its imaging properties.
Matouลก Kasal talked about the benefits at Top Unistar's conference. They are our distributor for Chinese market, and we have a lasting partnership.
Our research team got a new sample made of thick steel. To find defects, they needed a strong X-ray source - much stronger than we have in our lab. We found help in Dukovany! โข๏ธ
The sample only offered restricted access, we used backscattering and found signs of corrosion and cracks in 12mm of steel.

New research by Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences focuses on characterization of radiation quality in clinical proton fields.
They used a MiniPIX Timepix3 to measure the deposited energy and spectra during linear energy transfer in simulated proton therapy.
Minister Kupka is in charge of transportation ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฐ๏ธ๐จโ๐.
His next goal is to create platform for Czech companies to take the next step to space.
He was interested in the benefits of having photon-counting detectors aboard satellites and how they can help prevent or predict unwanted events.

Mapping the Moon or even Mars? Easier with robotic friends ๐ค
Our MiniPIX Space detector has served as payload in HUMANISE Project's test runs. They integrated it with the SPOT rover. Analog astronauts were staying in the US, using the robot stationed in The Netherlands to map a selected area.
Last week, we had a very pleasant visit from @thalesaleniaspace.bsky.social ๐ช
They help humanity stay connected. Without them, the satnat system Galileo would not be possible. They are also set up to participate in Moonlight - the project set to provide navigation on the lunar surface!
The future of head cancer treatment lies in precise irradiation monitoring. That is just one example we show as a demonstration of how particle detectors help humanity. We show specializes device, the Beam TraX, at ฤeskรก spoลitelna's Roadshow pro #silnฤjลกรญ budoucnost (Roadshow for a Stronger Future)
