Current #fh34 #fpl thoughts.
Liked what I saw of de Zerbi ‘s spurs, ahead of a must win game v down and out wolves.
Thiago may come in.
Looks different enough to what fh33 teams will come into.

This week has a real WoW factor courtesy of William Walton and Huw Watkins, as two of Britain's best orchestras slap down symphonic calling cards by compatriots past and present on my symphony & orchestral #NewReleases playlist, updated every #NewReleaseFriday.

This morning’s delights were clear. Two ABSOLUTE bangers. One of them crackled, sizzled, was full of joyous flavour and glorious textures throughout. The other was just, you know, a bit of pork in a piece of skin.
That was horrible really. We played poorly, but defended stoutly 2nd half.
But it's a HUGE night in the title race, a massive win for Arsenal and City have dropped points. Results wise, it could hardly be better.
And Fabian Hurzeler is very unhappy, which adds the icing to this particular cake.
FPL managers - I need your help.
I’m working with researchers on a project into the psychology of FPL managers.

I can't remember any pundits defending Arsenal in the late Wenger days losing to Rory Delap's long throws at Stoke City! One standard for Arsenal...
Look, they’ll win most of their games, will not concede penalties or get red cards, will successfully hamstring the Premier League from announcing their points deduction, and will somehow prevent Rodri from receiving his ban. There’s little precedent to doubt much of what I’ve just written.
At least we're winning the xG battle...
There is a measles outbreak in London, which has been widely reported.
Vaccination rates are low.
And we have been warned that an outbreak could be large.
Some of the reasons are due to misinformation and disinformation. Thankfully the Government appears to be waking up.
A thread.
Was there that day
Weird dichotomy. If we don’t win the PL, we’re shit. That will be the avalanche non Arsenal / media pile on.
If we win against all of City’s dubious resources with a manager in his 1st job, it will be one of the best achievements in club history.
It’s the stupidity of the binary world we live in.
All I see in this team is ‘safety first’. It’s there with our positioning, the lack of forward movement, the extra touch instead of a first time pass, & just not enough shooting. If we accept we’re likely to concede after we score then turn the screw rather than just sitting on it. Be braver.

Jim Ratcliffe owns this brand household cleaning products.
I used to get them for the boat. No more though.
Another new addition to the boxes library. Ivan Moravec ‘Portrait’ on 11 discs. It’s only about half of his Supraphon legacy, so I’ve already added his Chopin Nocturnes!
Do you find Arsenal boring? Blame their opponents. #AFC matches are terrific entertainment when they play against teams who dare to open up (Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, for example). In the league, it is the opposition's fear that kills the spectacle.

I know you're all excited about the luge at the moment, but this is very good. Jurowski's Mahler 9 with the LPO - a live performance from 2022, but I don't hear any bronchial interruptions from the audience. The adagio canters along - under 23 minutes, but slow enough when it needs to be.
Anyone on here managed to pass on tickets for South Bank Centre concerts? May not be able to go to Mahler 10 tonight but passed their 48 hour refund window...

What a second half that was from Arsenal. We had to improve, we really did, and this felt like something of a statement.
Someone was due a proper beating, and to do it against the form team in the league is really important. Give us distance over Villa and Man City.
We needed this, huge win!
To make it more confusing Everton also have Gana who plays for Senegal!
