You might be right about that. Its a delicate balance between staying informed and not getting overwhelmed. I Hate it. Need more cat/dog videos and moments of joy. There’s still a lot of that in the world and all this politics mess doesn’t get to steal my joy.

Thanks so much. There’s a whole world out there and all of the US based news sources are almost exclusively covering politics right now because its so hard to keep up. Its beginning to feel like they are intentionally keeping us distracted.

And as time passes, I’m sure more here as well.

Egg prices are soaring. Don't expect that to change anytime soon It looks like grocery shoppers hoping for soaring egg prices to turn around are likely to be waiting a while.

Bird flu is forcing farmers to slaughter millions of chickens a month, pushing U.S. egg prices to more than double their cost in the summer of 2023. And it appears there may be no relief in sight, given the the surge in demand as Easter approaches.
