It's definitely very 1980s Radiophonic Workshop! But the BBC Video ident seems to have been Peter Howell - It's listed in his database at whitefiles.org/rwz/zhw/2013... .

Mine from DWAS had printed labels and inserts just like on discogs. The text on your insert looks flakier than on the original, so I'd guess it's a photocopy. (Sorry!)
Van emblazoned with "John Hurt Environmental. We fix drains!".
Blows this out of the water!
Clutching at straws, but I wonder how widely this film was distributed in the '70s (Krotons are described as "mechanical organisms" at around 18:39).

Radio Times listing for the UK TV premiere of Dr Who and the Daleks, 1 July 1972.
David Maloney in discussion with Dudley Simpson.
Not that I'm *still* wearing my tinfoil hat, but...
I s'pose the big "ear" lights alone might have rung a bell. Or Maloney might have said "Oh that one's from the films" at their viewing?
Also recalling how Simpson had borrowed for a Dalek theme before. (Grainer's bassline, in "Evil" — Inspired!)
It's so strange! I've wondered if Simpson could have seen the film's first BBC broadcast on 1 July 1972 and made notes then. But such a borrowing would be atypical of him, I think, as well as risky, copyright-wise...
Fascinating video. Thanks for a very enjoyable 73 mins!
While on the subject of recycling and Dudley Simpson... I'd guess you're aware of the below? It came as a real surprise to me.

Hello!
I'm sure nearly all of you are meaning to follow Mark Salter the American political writer. Sorry, that's not me! (All I've written is one very British article in blackpoolremembered7485.wordpress.com/longing-for-... .)
*That* Mark Salter may now be followed at @marksalter55.bsky.social .
Seems to have been a commercial design. They've been spotted in the wild, e.g. in car parks (though possibly only infinitely labyrinthine ones?).

I wonder if the vampire names Ruath and Yarven in Blood Harvest/Goth Opera echo Lord Ruthven. BBC2 had adapted an opera about him just a couple of years earlier. (Clip here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ6s...)
