So many beards. This one is a nice pale minty green.

Taking photos of the wonderfully named lichen Old Man's Beard today using my folding photography light tent. The lichen is a subject I've been thinking of including in a handmade book for a while. Needless to say there's pressure on to go out for a walk.

A very Uist day.

First BBQ of the year. Cold and beautiful. The bird song was wonderful.

Machair spuds are the best. All that sandy soil.

Thanks so much. It also really helped that the snow created a half white half black pattern on each bale due to the wind direction otherwise it would look a bit chaotic.
