I recall when I was a child not to ever forget how not being heard felt. I vowed then to never do the same. I took that realisation on in how I treated others & then, eventually my own children. That conscious choices has served me & mine well.
12 year olds aren’t dumb. We were all a child once.

30 years ago I was convinced anyone without Mental Health issues, considering how fucked up the World/Society was, was far from sane. Being “Sane” seemed illogical.
Now the lunatics have finally taken over the asylum, & the ones who can’t cope with the madness are the sanest of all.

My apologies. There’s no other way to make this point. I’m uncomfortable too.
I’ve realised that it took me many years of my life to stop hating my childhood abusers. Hating them only hurt me. Now I have to expand that lesson. And. Let. Love. Win.
