Been too long since I last drew Gray or Phoebe, let alone in armor.
I feel like my train of thought for a lot of my art is "but what if it was evil" idk what this says about me lol.
From the animated trailer directed by POTTO Collective for "La Langue des Vipères", a graphic novel by Juliette Brocal, published today in France by Rue de Sèvres.

Thank you! Zephyranthes is a cleric of death and wears mourning veils at all times in different fashions. I can talk a lot about which veil for when and why but that would be very long. She also wears a wimple but I tend to want to add hair to the illustrations of her.
Digital art of a woman wearing armour has a purple veil held tight around her head by a collar. The image of one of her eyes and some of her hair is faintly visible. She is sitting on the ground with a morning star in her hands and caltrops around her.
A knight in armor, leather hat and a layered dress. Her outfit is shades of maroon pink and red with a veil in bright red being pulled over her face. An arrow has gone by her face and in her chest piece leaving pink sparks on impact. She holds her sword low to her side.
Thinking about Zephyranthes and what to draw next of her. 🗡️
Now THAT is a pilot profile!

Hi, I’m Mahri, and I’m looking for work in figurative illustration - be it in TTRPG spaces or otherwise! I’ve got a soft spot for gothic imagery and fantastical fashion, and a love of all things arcane.

Low saturation art of woman in oversized suit walking down stairs. Her face is in shadow as well as everyday objects floating around her head. Her eyes are bright purples and reds and leave a trail of color around the floating objects.
Digital art of a girl in a suit skirt set with leg warmers holding a glass watering can full of red liquid. She is surrounded by plants and ghosts with horns which match her own ghostly horns and tail.
A knight in armor, leather hat and a layered dress. Her outfit is shades of maroon pink and red with a veil in bright red being pulled over her face. An arrow has gone by her face and in her chest piece leaving pink sparks on impact. She holds her sword low to her side.
A digital drawing of a woman in a sci-fi outfit with a robotic arm. Her face is covered by a veil, she has a short cropped jacket, black body suit, ripped leggings with fish net underneath and wade covers over hiking boots. A small than scale silhouette of her mecha is projected in the background. In the right corner an illustration of her without a veil is shown she has pointed ears and fangs + patches that list multiple blood types. In the upper left corner reads : NAME:[UNKNOWN] CALLSIGN:V4MP

Digital illustration of a feast for a japanese beetle, bumblebee, and butterfly fairies. Cherubic ladybugs join them.
Illustration. A chained wyrm feeds itself to an abandoned fledgling - in return the fledgling returns one of her stolen hearts.
Character design commission. An alchemy themed fae with golden tubing and red orbs trapping smaller fae inside. 4 small arms puppet their larger ones.

A scene from in the VIP pit of a Lancer mech duel in the Grand Arena of Throne Karrakis. Colorful pennants sway in the breeze high above the stadium. Huge shades that look like translucent petals shade the spectators, seated in the sandy white gallery stands. The architecture flows and curves rather than being rectilinear or purely circular. Pointed archways from the main arcade level. Ornate fluorescent light chandeliers light up the shaded stands. On the Field, a massive black Lancer frame lunges forward with a black broadsword, boosted forward with back-mounted rockets. A red ponytail flows from its helm. Parrying the blow in a shower of sparks is a sage green Lancer frame with a curved scimitar-like sword. It pirouettes on digitigrade legs, its blue cape tails swirling in the arena dust. It is adorned with golden filigree. In the pit, two factions face off, each representing their frame in demeanor and attire. On the left, matched with the black knight mecha, a cadre of nobles (perhaps from the House of Stone), all in black and red and metal and furs, stand haughtily. The main one raises her whiskey glass in smug superiority. She has dark skin and an undercut hairstyle of red hair. Next to her is an older man, bald and bearded, with dark skin and a grumpy expression. On the right, representing perhaps the House of Glass, a rakish young noble lifts his wine glass in mocking salute. He has twin swords on his belt and an orange cape. Next to him is a beautiful noblewoman in a dress covered in rose-like flowers. a chain veil covers her face. Behind them, vidscreens show alternate angles of the mech duel, including shots from the cockpits of each frame, showing the determination and effort of each Lancer that pilots them.
Illustration of a dropship attempting a landing in a hot LZ. It's dodging flak airbursts but a ground based laser weapon has sheared off its starboard control surface.
An Everest-pattern Lancer frame, destroyed in battle, kneeling in a snowy, ashy battlefield in the middle of a ruined city under an overcast sky. The pilot huddles near a portable heater nestled between the frame's legs.
a lancer frame in a Karrakin Trade Barony noble house. Its kneeling on a plinth, against a backdrop of a golden relief mural of the Baronic families history. Its sword is emblazoned with the quote: "Do not wield me without reason, nor sheathe me without honor." In front, the royal scions play with a ball, running past it. Their worried nursemaids and a nanny drone follow the children in a panic.

A person walks in the street between the shadow of two buildings. In this strip of light, the person's shadow is cast as a stark silhouette. Its edges are wrong, stringy, its texture squirms is like hundreds of worms or a slime mold. The shadow is interrupted by two points of light, like piercing eyes looking back at the camera.
My shadow isn't mine anymore. It still follows me. It has the right shape. But I know it's not me.
I see its edges fray when I move. I see it squirm when I'm still. I know that when I look at it, it watches back.
Can't remember the time it took over. I'm afraid to think it has always been there.
