Two activists on a boat at sea, behind them looms a massive ship towing oil rig equipment. They are holding banners saying: Stop Rosebank, and Oil War Profiteers
BREAKING: Greenpeace activists have CONFRONTED a piece of Shell drilling equipment that is getting ready to extract oil in UK waters - even though Shell DON’T HAVE LEGAL PERMISSION to drill
Why is Shell IGNORING high court rulings that FORBID them from extracting oil at Rosebank?
Sign our huge people-powered petition telling the UK government to force Shell and other fossil fuel companies to pay for the damage they've caused: act.gp/3ZPWjRJ
Shell just announced £15.6 BILLION in annual profit for 2025 - whilst the bill for damage caused by extreme weather in the UK was £2.8bn.
Oil Giants are making huge profits off climate destruction, while the rest of us have to foot the bill.
Anyone else think this is unfair?
SHOCKING FACT: If you earned £18,000 a day from when Jesus was born to the present day, you STILL would not make as much as Shell did in profits last year
GOOD NEWS: Spain has announced a scheme to grant legal status to 500,000 undocumented migrants.
Instead of unleashing state violence, we can create compassionate, legal routes to documentation.
Who else thinks the UK should be following Spain's lead, NOT the US'?

32 fossil fuel companies were responsible for half of the world's CO2 emissions in 2024, with Saudi Aramco, Chevron and ExxonMobil leading the list.
Since 2012, Elbit Systems has won 25 public contracts in the UK worth more than £333m. The loss of this £2bn contract is a BIG victory against the arms trade.
But the UK government is STILL selling weapons to Israel. Keep up the pressure to END their complicity: act.gp/4jKGx43
🚨BREAKING: Prisoners END their 73-DAY hunger strike after huge WIN.
The government BLOCKED a £2bn contract to train British troops with the UK wing of Israel’s BIGGEST weapons company - a key demand for the activists.
But it doesn’t have to be this way; renewables are cheaper, cleaner and safer for everyone.
Tell the government to act now to stop gas companies ripping us off: act.gp/4bmCBnD
Most people don't know that gas sets the price we pay for power.
Profit-hungry gas companies have Britain's electricity prices in a choke hold. [2/3]
🚨 BREAKING: Household energy bills will INCREASE this week, while temperatures could reach -12° in parts of the UK.
Why on earth is the government allowing giant gas companies to RIP OFF the British public in the middle of winter? 🧵
GOOD NEWS: Renewable energy reached a RECORD HIGH in the UK last year, with wind power alone producing nearly 30% of our electricity.
MORE OF THIS for 2026 please! 🌍

Thanks to perseverance and people power, offshore wind went from a niche idea to the backbone of the UK power grid.
In the 25 years since the Blyth wind farm was built, the UK’s electricity has gone from being 74% fossil fuels in 2000, to 51% renewables in 2024.
This change wasn’t inevitable, but was the result of years of public pressure & peaceful protest.
We lobbied to show how offshore wind could create jobs, slash emissions, and provide 1/4 of Britain’s power by 2020.
Emma Thompson in front of an offshore wind farm, holding a giant price tag which reads "50% off offshore wind!"
Some GOOD NEWS: this week marks the 25th birthday of the UK’s FIRST offshore wind farm! 🥳🎂
25 years ago, offshore wind was still a risky, unproven idea.
Now, the UK leads the world in harnessing clean power from our coasts. 🧵
SHOCKING: 7 Palestine Action activists have been on HUNGER STRIKE for as long as 30 DAYS.
The activists have been denied bail, and could be held for over two years before their trial.

The Norwegian government ruled out new licenses after public pressure from around the world.

Our local fishermen and precious marine life are worth more than the profits of destructive fishing companies.

🚨SHOCKING FACT: Sustainable small-scale fishing boats make up 79% of the UK fleet but only get allocated around 2% of the fishing quota.
The UK gov is choosing a few greedy industrial fishing corporations over our local fishermen.
It’s a national disgrace.

Water companies have borrowed over £10bn in 'green' bonds - and keep borrowing more.
We analysed Bloomberg data & found that the industry issued a third of the UK corporate green bonds so far this year.
And still the sewage crisis goes on.

Tropical cyclones and heavy monsoon rains have combined to cause catastrophic flooding across swathes of southern and south-eastern Asia, killing more than 1,000 people and displacing 300,000
Water companies have borrowed over £10 billion in 'green' bonds since 2017. This year they were responsible for a third of all UK corporate bonds issued.
But the sewage crisis shows no sign of stopping.
