No kidding. I so hear this

You running ns under a wine simulator?
No. It’s very specific to whole song generated by generators like SUNO. We have seen zero false positives in our tests. It is very very specific. Human artists couldn’t even be identified as AI if they tried.
No. It’s very specific. You’ll find ~0 false positives.
Spotify is not great with respect to AI policies. But I want to point out that this wave of AI music slop is hitting every platform and distributor. So it's not just Spotify. It's likely Apple music and others as well. We just had more transparency into Spotify than other platforms.
Quick followup.
We just finished the MacOS Nightshade update. Now available also on nightshade.cs.uchicago.edu
You can use the tool on the audio portion on YouTube. But it is designed to detect fully generated AI songs. So unless the audio for a YouTube vid is fully generated by AI, quicksilver probably won’t do much.
Update #3:
We have fixed the "TRUE" bug on Nightshade that's been tormenting us for quite some time. The fix also comes with updated drivers for new NVidia chips.
The Windows version is ready and available:
nightshade.cs.uchicago.edu/downloads.html
The MacOS version still needs a bit of time.
Hmm, don't see a DM from you here. But sent you one in DMs anyway.
we try to respond to as many requests as we can. Do you need one?
We have much planned for ETCH, including development of tools like Quicksilver and ongoing deployment of tools like WebGlaze. But one step at a time. We are finalizing paperwork as a 501(c3), and working to secure funding for our initiatives. If you want to help, email us: ravenben@etch-humanity.org
Quicksilver is written by a team of volunteers at ETCH lab. Stanley Wu, Naryna Azizpour and Viresh Mittal. You can download it (for free of course), links below:

Today, there are no good detectors of AI-generated music, except one from Deezer. To fix this, we are releasing Quicksilver, a detector for AI-generated music inspired by research @ Deezer. Quicksilver is available as standalone MacOS app, or as browser plug-in for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
Update #2: Quicksilver, a detector for AI-generated music.
Most folks today are not aware that AI-generated music (entire songs generated by AI models) are growing rapidly. Today, there are more AI-generated songs than human-created songs arriving each week on platforms like Spotify.
Happy Monday.
Today we're making a few updates/announcements.
First up: our nonprofit ETCH is alive on the web.
etch-humanity.org
ETCH: Ethical Technology and Computing for Humanity.
ETCH is not another AI nonprofit. It is a nonprofit that explicitly prioritizes people over AI.
sorry, there are various problems with DMs on these platforms that I won't go into. But just sent you invite via DMs.
Not to be mysterious or whatever, but Monday will be a big news day for us. Multiple updates coming...
Girl, the solution to "the system is exploiting and replacing us" isn't "get a new system that can exploit and replace us". What are we even doing here? You can't fight for women if you're fighting for the technology that will run them out of the workplace.
You understand that every one of us on this team do this in our free time as volunteers right? We all have real jobs and no one is paying us to build or maintain tools you want?
Yes the world is on fire and we’re just doing what we can to douse some flames.
We’re still spinning up the new nonprofit. When that gets running in steady state we’ll look at how to get webshade up and running.
So good to hear. 3500x2 is large
Hopefully it was a driver issue which will also be fixed with this update.
The true bug was a bug in the error reporting routine. So anything that produced an error ended up showing true. Most of them are actually driver update issues.
Let us know how it goes.
You’re good if you’re running 2.1 ok GPU.
You’re safe on 2.1. 2.2 is mainly for support in 50xx GPUs.
To be clear glaze is mainly to disrupt fine tuning style mimicry attacks that copy an artist style into a Lora. This is less about disrupting base models. That’s nightshade.
Webglaze is moving physical servers since its normal host is old and starting to flake out. But other than that, no change to the internal algorithm. We have some research on that but it will be a while before it proves reliable enough to deploy.
Glaze 2.2 is out.
It is an update for Windows users to support recent NVidia GPUs (including 50xx GPUs).
Downloads at: glaze.cs.uchicago.edu
Mac users do not need to update.
We are also updating Nightshade to fix the True bug and also support new GPUs. That update is coming in the next few days.
