Listen — mentally, I am always, always, always, always in a Brothers Johnston “Stomp!” video. Would they accept me there? Probably not — but I am there in my mind, heart, spirit, and soul.

I think Taylor was crossing her legs in a specific way, and these ladies simply couldn’t help [platonically] swooning—and before folks pitchfork hunt me down like I’m some dudebro lusting over a vulnerable woman, I’d like to clarify that I’m gay lol. I just want the girlies to love each other! 🫶🏽

Listen, I’m no #Swiftie — or maybe I’m a #sleeper Swiftie, quite literally & figuratively, because I just woke up from a dream about other lady celebrities Emma Stone and fellow #Taylor Momsen involuntarily swooning over a simple gesture, and as a cis dude, I’m here for that #girlpowermaxxing.

Cultural arguments aside, this photo definitely looks like San Pedro Springs Park. It still looks just about the same today. Love living in San Antonio, just about everything here makes me feel like I am communing with the past!

I didn’t even realize Kacey Musgraves was from Texas — this makes me love her more!

Seen in a bar window this past weekend in Austin!

Hello! Lifelong resident of SA here—the Alamo grounds have changed dramatically (and are still evolving) since your visit 20 years ago. The structure itself is indeed small, but the new grounds will hopefully offer better perspective of its importance. Hope this helps, and come visit again!

I was at 280+ trying to reach the full 365-day streak, and then I missed it one day. I haven’t played Wordle consistently since then.

NYT placed too high of a bar for that badge, and it sucked all the fun out of me just for missing the one day.

While I was at the hospital, I saw a beautiful German shepherd arrive on a gurney, motionless but alert. Her family, who brought her in, did not leave the hospital with her, sobbing. I saw a beautiful creation in her final moments. Her name was Danke, and the world must weep for her too.

My beautiful baby 16 year old kitten has been hospitalized. She tested strongly for anemia, and she will be there until Mon. My heart is broken. I have learned that while Miss Kittee is stable, they must run more tests on her and get fluids in her system immediately. I have to tell someone, anyone.

This Black History Month, we honor generations of Black leaders, artists, and activists who fought for a nation where all Americans are truly created equal.

As our shared fight for justice and equality continues, the AANHPI and Black communities will always stand together.

The revolution is infiltrating our common spaces. We should have known when they concerned themselves with our bathrooms, our bedrooms, our workplaces, and now our streets. I sat meekly, hanging my pitiful head in shame. Just another night under the tyranny of disillusioned cis men.

I came home & slept. This morning I write to you from relative safety & comfort. Why relative? Because this fleeting existence could be “snatched” away from me in an instant. I’m a citizen, but has that mattered? Have these vanished citizens’ alma maters mattered?

Supposedly I have run into this man once before. I never want to run into him again. I now know what it’s like for collaborators to politely smile, nod their heads compliantly, laugh & joke. I don’t know if this man scanned my information. If I’m disappeared someday, you’ll know why…

He told me I didn’t “look” foreign, so I should be safe. What does that mean? He chased down some university sports stats, landing on my alma mater in a lineup of other top schools. “They’re doing good this season—you don’t have to worry.” What does that mean? I was fidgety…

This man terrified me. As a gay man, I know when other men are subtly gesturing or posturing themselves to pique my curiosity. This man did something like that, leaning toward me, towering over me, touching my shoulder, claiming his dominion. This man terrified me, so I paid for his tab…

He pushed back strongly and ranted about other things: mostly about his disappointment in women for not paying attention to him. He shared that he was forced to have [insert slur here for trans women] suck his you-know-what and that other men didn’t need to judge him for that…

Apparently in his free time, he does freelance sportsball journalism. He was invested in a WNBA game playing on the television & football highlights playing on his phone. Eventually I worked up the courage to say that I was upset by the actions of the very NICE agents, hoping I didn’t overstep…

Eventually I found out this man was a NICE agent, but he wasn’t a “mean” NICE agent—he only did statistics for the other NICE agents, documenting the people they “snatch” (his words) & other data. I froze in this conversation. I was inebriated and didn’t want to say something wrong…

Last night I went out for a few drinks after a challenging January—all month long. In came a very NICE person. He walked up to me and said that last time I essentially saved him from a conversation with some other girl. I didn’t remember him at all, but I kept it friendly…
