He'll be very upset when he hears about the lineage of the monarchy πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.. I knew he was a tool but I didn't appreciate quite how much 😡

This is why it is simply nonsense to oppose solar farms on environmental grounds they just need to be managed correctly.

I mean the evidence in this case didn't investigate interventions to improve the usefulness or accuracy of student feedback. But I do agree raw student feedback isn't useful and shouldn't be used for career progression or sent to lectures without some censorship.

That's really awful !

I think if feedback is collected from students some explanation/ training on what is appropriate feedback is should be provided to students. Framing the purpose and expectations could likely mitigate some of the harmful comments

Love to see it ! Solar is so cheap and so easy to install 🌞

Very cool !! It looked like a mix of both ! The knobs sounded very rough to operate too πŸ˜‚ must have been an experience.

Love that they have used this system as a platform for in situ type experiments and other testing. Great to have a system to configure flexibly

PhD can be a really good start to an industrial career - but agreed there should be better planning for research staff and infrastructure

Now commissioned, we hope to support many researchers with this new unique facility! Already we have many interesting results from CdTe solar cells with much still to learn. Get in touch if you would like to work together πŸ˜€

Arr maybe they are struggling with the weather, id hate to be baking in this weather must be really challenging

10 months ago 1 0 0 0

Depends on the flour ? If it's brown flour looks great if it's bread flour id hope for more rise but baking with these higher temperatures does throw your usual recipe off completely 🀣

Id think this could make quite a fun outreach type activity!

Unburdened by dogma seems the opposite of his actual approach.. listen to conventional wisdom and formulate an achievable plan🀷

πŸ˜‚ The rolled sleeves are certainly a prop along with the inconvenienced staff behind him 😡

But I'm glad they are taking some action even if I don't πŸ’― agree

Agreed the rolled sleeves is so contrived.( I usually respect him as a politician)

Not sure I really understand the point of these changes. Friends and family in the NHS consistently say they are lacking consultants and training positions. Capacity isn't the immediate issue.

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

Agreed! Films rather pricey even developing your own... Quite inconvenient too πŸ˜‚
Will you be doing 365 again?

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

What's the point in capacity increases without more consultant positions. Seems gov has pumped in more Drs but without increasing training positions (which is limited by consultant numbers)...

What is this thing with politicians rolling up their shirt's sleeves when the NHS is concerned?
He presumably did not lay hands on patients nor touch equipment.
A statement on privatisation delivered with the look of "I have just inspected the situation first hand here" is not a coincidental choice.

This vacuum tweezer is my new favorite lab gadget! Soo handy for picking up tem grids with low risk of bending 😍

I know it's hard to make time but idk how pis can be confident in results when they don't have some hands on involvement. Also it's such a boost for most researchers when the pi is enthusiastic about results
