Winter 2026 will never end! 😫

Yeah, four months is a long time to go without leaving your house for at least two overnight trips. At least you can bookend a one-night trip by playing in the morning of day one and night of day two.

It’s significantly easier when you have a machine at home, but I went out of town for spring break this week (first vacation since Christmas), so I was hoping to hit the local arcade, but that just didn’t happen.

Well, I did not make it to Hometown Arcade Northampton before their 9pm closing time, so my consecutive streak of days playing pinball stopped at 109 today.
Sooner or later I’ll get that 120 day streak badge from Stern, but not this time.

The IBM Quantum System One computer sitting in the transept of the Voorhees Computing Center (VCC), a former cathedral. The computer is protected by large glass walls approximately 15 feet high.

So I saw IBM’s Quantum System One computer on the Rensselaer campus today. I’m not sure it was doing anything quantum at the time. Hard to tell.

I drove I-90 over the Berkshires today and it was snowing. Sheesh, it’s April 19! ❄️

When you defeat Juggernaut, Mystique, and Sabertooth, you get Sauron multiball on the next scoop shot. Defeat T-Rex and Mastadon, and then you get Megakrakaladonkulus.
Complete the three battles once again, and you get Mr. Sinister.
Somewhere in there is Clone Multiball 😜

Breaking a billion on Deadpool is what most casual players aim for.
This game has a shot called Snikt, and if you successfully make it, you’ll get a 2x multiplier for all shots. Make it three more times and you get a 5x multiplier. That’s when the huge points start to add up.

If you go fast enough you’ll stay on top of the water 😉

Shoot the right orbit to get chimichangas, which lights Quests, and shoot the scoop.
Complete all of those modes and you’ll get the Mr. Sinister battle.
Complete the three Battles again and you’ll reach the FINAL BATTLE! 🎰

These Deadpool games last around 40 minutes. Still haven’t cracked 30 billion. I’m trying!

Indeed. Much like my Twilight Zone strategy to unlock Lost in the Zone super quickly.
Although, my favorite points cheat is in fast lock multiball, keep shooting left ramp->lock, left ramp->lock for infinite points.

Yes, all three of those machines are still very popular. Each features challenging shots and combos, with plenty of variety in the rulesets, and extremely rewarding (and massive points) in the final wizard mode, if you can unlock it!

Shoot the left ramp, shoot the slot machine, catch the slot machine eject.
Repeat until all door panels are illuminated and unlock Lost In The Zone.
This wizard mode can be reached in less than 10 minutes.

Harmless nuclear fusion would be suck an unlock. ☀️

Price doesn’t matter when there’s no inventory of the things you want to buy.
