There isn't a boardgames wrapped but MAGICAL ATHLETE is easily my favourite of 2025 - I've played loads of times and it never stops being funny and interesting. I love introducing people to it. Huge recommendation!

I have often bemoaned the dryness of many modern games. Somebody on the web wrote "boardgames are just math made fun", and I answered that many boardgames are math made not fun. In such games, scores are no longer a reward for good play, but the entire games just consist of calculations. (1/X)

I'm late to the party on "No Thanks"
Just picked up the re-release by @cmyk.games
First simple card game I've played that had at least 4 "Oh wait, I'm doing this wrong!" moments. Not in terms of rules, but in strategies.
CMYK has released two more titles in their Magenta series, aggressively pink big-box versions of small-box classics. The pair, No Thanks! and I'm Out, also happen to be my favorite Magentas thus far. My review: spacebiff.com/2025/10/27/n...
