A green e-bike with a green bike trailer containing bulky objects (not pictured) from Costco.
It's not just you. This is me and my new e-bike doing a Costco run, now possible with the addition of the bike trailer pictured. I was laughing at how easy this fully loaded trip home was!
Some good news today!
SB 1167 would prohibit e-motos from being marketed and sold as e-bikes and hold manufacturers and vendors accountable.
This is critical legislation, as e-motos and e-bikes have been conflated, and without this efforts will increase to restrict e-bikes, reducing e-bike usage.
After taking time to connect with the Pretti family and with their consent, we are honored to share that we have created the Alex Pretti Nursing Scholarship.

Listen live now, listen to the replay tonight at 8, or as a podcast, but just listen. This is a good conversation about bike and pedestrian safety on SF streets
So just to get this straight: people buy cars and expect the municipal government to provide them with a convenient space within a finite streetscape to park the car. And they expect to enjoy this service free of any charge. Do I have that right?
Just did a Costco trip on my new e-bike with a trailer.
E-bikes and e-motos are not the same, and e-bikes are much safer.
Many (most?) of the complaints and concerns the media, electeds, and others are voicing about e-bikes are actually about e-motos.
Please share widely!
Wars are a distraction. They want you focused on wars abroad while they destroy communities at home.
Billions for bombs. Nothing for healthcare. Nothing for housing. Nothing for you.

Here's your moment of zen: A "holy" cat named Coco stands at the entrance of a church in Mexico, seemingly blessing everyone who walks in 🐱
How's the bike parking there?

That's a great tattoo! I am so thankful that KEXP began broadcasting in the Bay Area two years ago. I've donated to the station in the past, but I became an Amplifier during this drive (on Cheryl Waters' show the other day).
White person’s leg with rolled up jeans and a four varying height bar graphic - in black ink (looks like an audio wave) tattooed just above the ankle. Against a black backdrop
Not the greatest pic, but my celebration of #KEXP is now permanently on my ankle. These four bars should look familiar to anyone in the listener community. And - P.S. they are currently in their
fund drive week. #MusicMatters kexp.org #JoyAsAnActOfResistance

This delivery driver throws treats to all the dogs on his route to see if they can catch. Spoiler alert: some of them definitely cannot. Still 13/10 for all (TT: jezzyvi)
When we talk about Baby Boomers not getting off the stage: In 1997, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2007, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2017, the US president was born in 1946.
And next year in 2027? The US president will have been born in 1946.
Sir, another car trip was replaced by an ebike.
Chuck Schumer: “I’ve always wanted us to go to war with Iran, I’m just sad he didn’t call me into the war room when it was launched.”
This is not a person in opposition to the current actions of the President.
The best tourist advertisement for Italy has been how many loose Good Dogs there are running around
"A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."
—The Declaration of Independence
Help stop the misguided attempt to license bikes in CA, it will only lead to making it more difficult for people to adopt bikes. We don’t need new laws, we need the existing classifications of e-bikes to be properly enforced.

#KEXP living up to their independent community radio - no algorithms - reputation. Great stuff from DJ Prometheus Brown right now. KEXP.org/playlist
You may know of KEXP more from their YouTube channel, but - seriously, the listener community/online radio is WORTH listening to!
